Caitlin has been working as a Cannabis Nurse Practitioner since 2017, providing education, consultations, and certifications for MA and NY cannabis patients. During this time she has also educated individuals and communities about cannabis medicine throughout New England. She has spoken at and helped organize the American Cannabis Nursing Association’s national conferences since 2019. Before taking the leap into Endocannabinology and cannabis medicine Caitlin worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and her background is in Herbalism, Hatha Yoga, Reiki and Bodywork.
Caitlin joyfully came to work with cannabis to escape the brutal reality of modern health care: a broken system driven by pharmaceutical and insurance interests, overpriced services, and fear of litigation—a healthcare system that profits from illness and ignorance of preventative health and wellness.
One of the many reasons she loves working with cannabis medicine is that the very process of learning to medicate with this plant can be empowering. Working with cannabis allows people to take their health into their own hands and opens the doors to connection with plant medicine and radical wellness.
Caitlin approaches patient care from a place of deep listening. As an Integrative Health Coach, she believes that the most positive and lasting changes come when people are internally motivated and empowered to shift patterns that no longer serve them.
